Wants To Tell You...
It’s impossible to see the way out of every situation. That’s just part of the human experience. Still, it’s frustrating, as it requires you to relinquish your natural sense of control. Everyone wants to feel like they have a hold over their lives, even if you don’t identify with terms like “Control Freak.”
However, if you knew the solution to every problem right away, you would never be able to grow. Periods where you are stuck, suspended in the air hanging by the world’s tree like the Hanged Man, are necessary for your growth. You’ll understand what it all means soon enough.
When you’re in the Hanged Man phase, your decisions might seem unorthodox or even confusing to the world around you. Thankfully, their opinions don’t matter much along your path. Of course, it’s normal to tie yourself to the words of others, especially if they are greatly influential to you.
Part of the Hanged Man’s journey includes releasing the need to please others. All he needs to do is hang there, waiting for the Universe to tell him what to do next.
Similarly, you are encouraged to follow the Universe’s lead, no matter what your instructions are (so long as they do not cause harm to yourself or others). You may get backlash from those around you, but there is a method to your madness that they simply cannot see yet.
If you take a look, the Hanged Man is the only figure on the card. It’s not necessarily that he’s selfish; in fact, he makes his sacrifices for the greater good. Unfortunately, people don’t always understand why he does the things he does–but they’re not supposed to.
Modern society encourages us to be productive at all waking hours, and even when we are asleep. You are expected to have a main hustle, a side hustle, and a side hustle for your side hustle. Sometimes, though, the opposite approach is more effective.
While you feel trapped in your circumstances, taking a moment to reflect can be your best bet. Using this stillness as a means to reassess your situation is the most productive thing you can do right now!
The door ahead of you isn’t quite visible right now, but it will be in due time. If you keep looking for it, you’ll never find it. You’ll just send yourself on a wild goose chase, though the answer will feel really obvious when you do figure it out.
That’s not worth dwelling on right now; instead, keep your eyes on the present moment instead of being so forward-thinking all the time. You are so consumed by what’s happening next that you are failing to see the gifts that are in the present moment. It’s called the “present” for a reason!
When you do inevitably reach the door that lies ahead, it might not be exactly what you asked for–but it’s exactly what you need. You can ease the blow now by releasing expectations of any outcomes.
Relinquishing your need to have one fixed outcome allows the Universe to bring something even better to you. You’ll thank yourself later, because odds are the thing you initially wanted to do wasn’t for your highest good, anyway.
When this door opens, take a deep breath and move forward confidently. For now, though, you should rest before you take action and contemplate the possible moves you could take before actually following through.
