TODAY'S DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
Thursday, 26 December 2024
Challenges are a part of life, but you are a sure winner because I have already fought the battle for you.
My child, I want you to know that you cannot separate life from challenges. Being My follower is not a ticket to a life free of troubles because whether you are a Christian or not, some problems are inevitable. The advantage you have is that I have overcome all troubles for you.
Don’t assume that you are a loser. You are not weak, and you are not a victim. You are a winner, you are strong, and you are a victor. Your victory is not dependent on your physical strength because over two thousand years ago, I won the fight for you. There, on the Cross of Calvary, I said through My son, "It is finished." Your struggles and battles are finished because you are fighting from the place of victory.
Greater is He That is in You
I have made a home in your heart. I dwell in you, and you dwell in Me. Sickness and diseases are not permitted to dwell in your mortal body because it is My dwelling place.
I am fearless; no circumstances intimidate Me. If I dwell in you, then fear has no right to torment you. My presence in you swallows the fear of the unknown, failure, and every other kind of fear.
The world has a ruler, but he is no match for you because you have My backing. You are guarded on all sides and cannot know defeat.
You may experience some flops, but do not give up. You may have your back on the ground sometimes, but be reminded of who you are. Get up! Arise from the ashes of defeat, shake off that depression, and celebrate your new identity. You are an overcomer, My child.
Put on a Winner's Attitude
Being a winner but acting like a loser is not a sign of humility. It shows that you are not confident in your position. There is a way that winners walk. There is a way they think, and there is a way they act.
When David approached Goliath on the battlefield, he demonstrated what it is like to have the attitude of a winner. Take note of his words; he was positive and did not utter one negative word. Even when his brothers and the King tried to convince him to believe otherwise, he kept on speaking positively.
What he demonstrated was not pride, but rather, confidence in whom he believed I had made him. What is your attitude like? Do you speak positive words over your life, or are you negative and critical?
Your words are powerful seeds. And once they take root, they will germinate and bear fruit. Negative words will produce a negative life, while positive words will produce a positive life. You may have gotten used to being doubtful, but you can learn to be filled with faith. You need to start walking by faith and not by sight. Let your faith in Me move you to bring to manifestation what seems impossible.
Call yourself a champion today. Bring your desire to My feet in prayer today. Begin to declare positive words over your life until they become your reality. Let your victory start from your mind. Let your lips confirm it, and it will become your reality.
Reflect on these words today
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
— Romans 8:37
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
— I John 4:4
