Your heart is hopelessly dark and deceitful, a puzzle that no one can figure out. But I can search the heart and examine your mind. I can get to the root of things and give proper treatment so that they will be cleansed and purified. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh.

Everything that you do flows from your heart, therefore, make sure that you always check the health of your heart.

Optimal Heart Health

Your heart cannot sustain its health on its own. It can be beaten down by the circumstances of your daily life. Your heart’s initial response is to be protective of its own to the point of deceit and wickedness. It has the tendency to vomit up evil arguments, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, lies, and cussing. So it is your responsibility to guard it with diligence.

An unguarded heart can be vulnerable to being shaped by the wrong things. The enemy can use it to plant thoughts, ideas, temptations, and false beliefs that will steer you in the wrong direction.

You can only achieve optimal health for your heart is when you fully surrender it to Me. This way, I can reveal to your ways that do not align with Mine. It will make room for Me to heal your wounds from the past and open opportunities for obedience.

Your Daily Prescription

Watch over your heart with all diligence because everything in it will take control of your life. The world can easily penetrate through it that can cause you to live in sin. As a believer, you have to ensure that your heart is in good health condition. Filter every defilement leaving sin and temptation in the dust.

I encourage you today to guard and protect your heart. You see, the health of an apple tells the health of the tree. So you must begin with your own life. Give your full attention to My word as you read it, and do what I say. Do not let disobedience harden your heart.

Avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Keep your eyes straight ahead and ignore all sideshow distractions. Surround yourself with people who follow Me and are after My own heart. Hold tight to their godly counsel and do not relax your grip. Listen well to My words and tune your ears to My voice.

I have prescribed you the right way to live. Enjoy the reward of those who stay on course, walking steadily on the road I have revealed from My word. Never go off on your own for you can easily go astray.

Let My word warns you off from danger and directs you to the way you should go. This will lead you to the promise of abundant life in peace and long life lived full and well. My promise remains true to those who walk in total faithfulness to me each passing day, not just when it is convenient for you.
